Stewart Lee in ‘The Observer’

Stewart Lee is always the most satirically insightful writer on portraying a perverse world, here adopting a persona and defending a family normally anathema to him – demonstrating a poignancy within the acerbic – and exposing the grotesque hypocrisy of those citing ‘virtue-signalling’ in others as well as those who attack fascism, wherever/whoever it is, as a criticism.
