Much of my imagery is recorded purely in terms of composition.. shape, colour, texture etc. With any contextual meaning usually a minor consideration. I love the way you add another layer of interpretation to the images.. it’s so unexpected!

And that’s the great thing about working with your images that evoke rather than describe. Firstly, they have such presence to evoke ideas in me! Secondly, it is like found writing/poetry where the surprise is that ‘accident of meaning’, so it is a discovery – for both of us. Hoping I never ‘darken’ an image where you hadn’t felt this, or don’t like it going there. Here, it is the drama of a possible storytelling, left untold…
