my biscuits and gravy are bespoke –
as in mine – and though bought scones
with proprietary pork sausage skinned, fried and
white-sauced-up are hardly an ensemble from scratch,
they remind me of the few diners i visited when
returning home to america searching for
things to celebrate

Did you ever get to try the biscuits and gravy with Bill Lively at the Talent Truck Stop?

Unortunately, no! I would have loved that. Two memorable ones were at a place in Portland, and also one in Las Vegas: both independent. Also that huge meal in Las Vegas with ‘you lot’!!
